FAQ

What is NatureSwim?

NatureSwim is a revolutionary breakthrough in swimming pool technology that sanitises water without adding chemicals.

Copper is an algaecide and Silver is an anti-bacterial agent. But without the oxidising properties. If you try to run a pool just on copper and silver, you don’t have anything to break down the organic compounds. So what we use for the oxidisation part of the process is a combination of electronic oxidisation and ultrasonics.

NatureSwim is less hazardous, more energy efficient, and more effective than chlorine-based swimming pool systems.

Why should i Choose NatureSwim?

The rising list of major health consequences linked to chlorinated water is becoming overwhelming. Trihalomethanes, or THMs, are chemical byproducts of chlorinated water. Swimming exposes your body to dangerous THMs in three ways: through the skin, inhalation, and ingestion. The NatureSwim is designed to protect people and pets from the dangers of chlorine in pools, spas, and water features. We encourage you to conduct your own research.

Why spend more for NatureSwim?

No, copper is a crucial metal found in many proteins and enzymes. Adults should consume 1-5 mg each day, according to research. The copper content at which the NatureSwim system functions is only 30% of the maximum recommended value in drinking water.

You would need to ingest between 3 – 15 litres of pool water to get the recommended daily intake of copper. The copper concentration in the NatureSwim water contains less copper than the waste water from some household municipal water suppliers. The silver content is also well below drinking water guidelines.

Why don't pool builders recommend NatureSwim?

The swimming pool industry, like many industries, is resistant to change, because they want to sell you pool chemicals.

Pool builders may also have agreements and incentives in place with suppliers to promote a particular brand, in these circumstances what they are recommending to you is often more for their benefit than yours.

Fortunately pool owners, are researching for better alternatives and are seeing the benefits of a freshwater pool system for their family and pets.

Pool builders around the world is starting to embracing the NatureSwim system and are learning that NatureSwim is easy to install, simple to commission and unlike salt and chlorine the NatureSwim System does not damage pool surfaces or equipment.

How long does it take to pay for itself?

Since every pool is unique, it's impossible to give you a specific response. It depends on the size of the pool, the weather, how many people are swimming, etc.

How do I test Copper/Silver levels?

Whenever the Copper-ion level is correct, the Silver-ion level will be in range also. The electrodes are an alloy mix of Copper and Silver, so the right proportions are always being released at the same time. The copper test kit that comes with the system is an easy way to check the levels.

  1. fill the tube to 10mL of pool water by turn the tube upside-down, dip the tube into the pool (elbow deep) and turn it right way up and remove the excess water.

  2. Add 5 drops of copper A.

  3. Put the lid onto the tube and shake the tube.

  4. take off the lid and add 5 drops of copper B.

  5. Put the lid back on, shake the tube and wait 3 to 5 minutes.

  6. Remove the cap, place the bottom of the tube on to the white area of the colour chart and match the colour by looking down into the tube.
